As part of this commitment, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Member Development Coach to support our team members in their professional journeys.

Position Overview:

The Team Member Development Coach is a key member of the Advanced Space team, focused on guiding and supporting our technical and non-technical team members throughout their career development. This role is responsible for providing professional and administrative coaching, offering career guidance, and aggregating feedback from managers and peers. The individual in this role will work closely with team members to ensure they have the resources and support needed to achieve their personal and professional goals, while maintaining alignment with the company’s long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Member Coaching & Development:
    • Guide and support team members in setting and achieving their career and personal development goals in aligning with the company’s objectives
    • Provide individualized coaching to enhance professional growth and performance.
    • Help team members navigate career paths within the organization by offering mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Feedback Aggregation & Analysis:
    • Collect, analyze, and consolidate feedback from team members’ managers, peers, and other stakeholders.
    • Provide actionable insights based on feedback to both team members and leadership.
    • Work closely with team members to create development plans based on feedback.
  • Career Path Guidance:
    • Assist team members in identifying opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.
    • Support team members through career transitions, promotions, or shifts in roles by providing career guidance and resources.
    • Maintain a long-term focus on team member satisfaction, retention, and professional development.
  • Professional and Administrative Support:
    • Provide ongoing support in areas such as time management, work-life balance, and workplace challenges.
    • Act as a resource for team members on matters related to work performance, goal setting, and personal development.
    • Help facilitate communication between team members, team leads, and managers to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
    •  Utilize assessments, such as 360-degree feedback, personality tests, and other evaluations, to gain insights into individual strengths, areas for development, and overall effectiveness.
  • Program Development & Implementation:
    • Design and implement employee development programs, workshops, or seminars to promote continuous learning and growth.
    • Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop company-wide initiatives that align with our vision of long-term team member success and engagement.
  • Team Member Well-Being & Engagement:
    • Champion a culture of well-being by supporting team members in areas of mental health, stress management, and personal challenges.
    • Regularly check in with team members to ensure they are engaged, motivated, and satisfied with their career progression.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in employee coaching, career development, or people operations roles.
  • Proven track record of guiding team members through personal and professional development.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of feedback systems and employee engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • A deep commitment to employee well-being, satisfaction, and long-term growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Coaching certification or relevant professional development in coaching or career guidance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from feedback and performance data.
  • In person 5 days a week in the Westminster HQ office

  • Base Salary Range – $90,000- $122,000 based on role, employee experience, and location
