Interns will gain hands-on experience in supporting essential business information systems, network infrastructure, and user support, all within a highly technical and innovative industry.

Role Overview

As an IT Intern, you will work alongside our experienced IT team to support and maintain our Microsoft-based infrastructure and provide day-to-day technical support to company employees. This internship provides the opportunity to develop practical IT skills in a professional setting while contributing directly to the success of a company advancing the future of space exploration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the IT team with daily tasks and projects.
  • Provide support for end-user tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Help maintain and manage Windows-based computers and servers.
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of software and hardware.
  • Support the IT team in ensuring network security and data integrity.
  • Document IT processes and update technical manuals as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IT projects and initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Prior experience with IT troubleshooting is helpful.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.

Beneficial but not required:

  • Microsoft 365 Administration.
  • Microsoft Azure (Entra ID).
  • Unix-based operating systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and terminology.
