Based in Westminster Colorado, this incredible team is looking for a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to support a growing list of projects and missions. This person will play an integral role in ensuring that our fast-paced and growing team is properly aligned and equipped to support mission planning, operations, and technological development.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll lead mission-critical efforts across the full lifecycle of space systems — from concept to orbit and beyond. You bring the experience. We bring bold ideas. Responsibilities:
· Lead the planning, design, and development of system requirements for space missions
· Evaluate, test, and integrate mission concepts into functional operations
· Define mission goals, validate against system performance, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve those goals
· Work directly with customers to guide mission development from early design through launch and validation
· Own interface definition and management — developing and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
· Develop test plans, guide execution, and ensure test results are well-documented and actionable
· Lead key system reviews — SRR, PDR, CDR — and contribute technical leadership to subsystem design (Comm, GNC, ADCS, Propulsion, FDIR, EPS, etc.)
· Support mission ops through coordination, anomaly resolution, and forward-thinking ops planning
· Drive early-phase space system studies for new and upcoming missions
· Proactively identify and manage risks across program phases
· Navigate and support space system regulatory processes (orbital debris assessments, spectrum licensing, etc.)
· Coordinate across a wide range of technical talent, from astrodynamics to systems and navigation engineers
· Support the creation of compelling, technically rigorous proposals for future missions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· B.S./M.S./PhD in Aerospace Engineering or similar, with emphasis on Systems Engineering
· 8–12 years of hands-on experience in mission implementation (flight + ground systems), with deep space experience preferred
· Deep systems-level expertise with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
· Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience with tools like Cameo
· Familiarity with NASA’s Systems Engineering Handbook and DoD space programs
· Experience in spacecraft communications systems, mission design, and navigation across Earth, Cislunar, and Deep Space
· Programming proficiency (Python preferred)
· Experience with space mission AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test)

Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to work in the Westminster, CO office 5 days/week during core business hours.
- Applicants must be a US Person (citizen or Green Card Holder/permanent resident, or protected individual)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range – $113,000 – $140,000 based on role and experience
- Signing bonus
