Based in Westminster, Colorado, this incredible team is looking for a skilled and experienced Program Controls Lead (PM) to support our growing team! In this role, you’ll be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust project controls systems that ensure precision, accountability, and performance across complex, multi-phase aerospace programs. From schedule and cost management to earned value analysis and risk mitigation, your expertise will help drive innovation and operational excellence.

This person will play an integral role in ensuring that our fast-paced and growing team is properly aligned and equipped to support mission planning, operations, and technological development.
This position is open to U.S. Persons only (U.S. citizens, or lawful permanent residents), as required by applicable laws and regulations. We do not provide visa sponsorship or support work authorization for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver comprehensive project controls including scheduling, forecasting, risk management, subcontract management, and performance reporting across aerospace programs
· Lead program controls and reporting functions, presenting insights and updates to stakeholders at all levels—from engineering teams to executive leadership
· Support proposal development, cashflow modeling, and earned value tracking for aerospace contracts and government programs
· Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, including DoD, NASA, and FAA reporting requirements
· Travel periodically to support program execution and stakeholder engagement
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in project cost controls, preferably within aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries
- Background in project controls and commercial operations, with emphasis on financial analysis and cost control
- Expertise in using Excel, modeling tools, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage and resolve project issues across cross-functional teams
- Contract change monitoring and implementation.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace Management, Construction Management, Computer Science, or a related business/technical discipline
· Experience with aerospace program controls tools and environments
· Familiarity with government contracting standards and earned value management systems (EVMS)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 based on role and employee experience
